The Carbonit WFP Protect long filter cartridgeis a sintered activated carbon block filter with special dimensions. It can only be used in Carbonit QUADRO 120 filter systems. This sintered activated carbon block filter focuses on the chemical-physical removal and simple mechanical particle retention of unwanted substances in drinking water. No bacteriological barrier is sought through the finest filter pores, since large amounts of water are to be worked with in a short time. The filter cartridge must be changed after 6 months (according to DIN 1988). In principle, 10,000 liters of water may be filtered within the 6 months. However, an earlier change may be necessary if the water flow is noticeably reduced. An early change is not a defect of the filter used,
