The bluAqua iron filter cartridge lowers the iron concentration, reduces the hydrogen sulfide content, the metallic taste and the odor of the water.

The FE² dissolved in the water is converted to FE³ and removed from the water through the filter. The filter uses hydrogen sulfide in which Fe² is oxidized to Fe³.

Water with too high an iron content is the main cause of wear and tear on industrial equipment and household appliances due to deposits of so-called "scale". Iron salts damage textiles washed in such water and irritate the skin. Furthermore, if the iron content in the water is too high, this results in the formation of rusty edges on sanitary facilities.

• Working temperature 2 - 45 degrees
• Iron filter cartridge increases the pH value and reduces the concentration of iron and manganese in the water
• Reduction of the following substances:
  • Iron (if the pollution of the unfiltered water does not exceed 4.0 mg/l)
  • Manganese (if the contamination of unfiltered water does not exceed 0.1 mg/l)
  • Sulphite (if the pollution of the unfiltered water does not exceed 0.9 mg/l)
  • Oxide (if the load of the unfiltered water does not exceed 4.0 mg/l)
  • Chloride (if the pollution of the unfiltered water does not exceed 4.8 mg/l)
  • Silicates (if the pollution of the unfiltered water does not exceed 35.0 mg/l)
• Service life: Depending on the load on the unfiltered water and the flow rate, approx. 3-6 months
• Recommended flow rate at approx. 3 bar pressure / 10,000 l/h.
