Anti-lime and corrosion protection filter cartridge with polyphosphate

This anti-lime and corrosion protection filter cartridge filled with polyphosphate crystals is used for water softening and should be used exclusively for the treatment of non-potable water or as a device protection filter.

The polyphosphate here serves as a so-called stabilizer and reduces lime precipitation, which leads to the well-known unwanted deposits in technical devices (washing machine, dishwasher, etc.), the shower, and the house installation. Water treated with polyphosphate can be heated up to 75 °C - 80 °C; at higher temperatures, the polyphosphate gradually loses its effect.

The polyphosphate crystals wear out over time and are available as refill packs.
