The Carbonit filter cartridge NFP Premium is a monoblock filter manufactured by the sintering process and internationally patented. Its adsorptive forces of sintered activated carbon retain residues of medications and polar pesticides, while the mechanical depth filtration retains germs, bacteria, fungi, and other suspended solids. For technical reasons, you can only use the filter cartridge for cold water and in frost-protected systems.
When do you change the Carbonit NFP Premium filter?
According to DIN 1988, you should replace the Carbonit filter cartridge NFP Premium every 6 months. During this time, you can filter about 10,000 liters of water. If the water flow noticeably decreases, an earlier change may be necessary. In principle, you should replace the flat gaskets of the NFP Premium filter cartridge with every change. This ensures the system is always reliably sealed and can function as intended.
