Carbonit WFP Select long filter cartridge Quadro 120 water filter
The Carbonit WFP Select long filter cartridge is a sintered activated carbon block filter with special dimensions. It can only be used in Carbonit QUADRO 120 filter systems. This sintered activated carbon block filter focuses on the chemical-physical removal as well as simple mechanical particle retention of unwanted substances in drinking water. It does not aim to provide a bacteriological barrier through the finest filter pores, as large amounts of water are to be processed in a short time. The filter cartridge must be replaced after 6 months (according to DIN 1988). Basically, 10,000 liters of water may be filtered within the 6 months. However, an earlier replacement may be necessary if the water flow is noticeably reduced. An early replacement is not a defect of the filter used, but an indication of increased occurrence of fine particles in the unfiltered water.
