This 5-inch filter cartridge is equipped with a powerful oil and chemical binder for absorbing oils and chemicals. The special properties of this material ensure that all these and other hydrophobic liquids are permanently bound.

The 5 inch bilge filter cartridge filters oil, petrol or diesel from the bilge water and uses a material developed in Germany which, due to its properties, attracts oil molecules and binds them permanently in the cartridge. This filter cartridge meets the requirements for oil binders according to the DEKRA test report in terms of oil binding and holding capacity (100 g of filter material binds 0.655 litres of oil). It has a Capacity of 500 g , which is the average amount of oil in approx. 12,500 liters of bilge water / bilge water corresponds.

Proper disposal
